Believe it or not - plants don’t need soil to grow, they actually need the nutrients IN the soil. Nutribloom is our one part home blend made with mineral salts designed to deliver nutrients straight to the root in all the right quantities, at the right times allowing the plant to reach its full potential.
NutriBloom is designed for your fruiting and flowering plants such as chilli, tomato, strawberries, etc, and is to be added after the NutriGrow cycle is completed. Please check the planting guide for each plant on our seed collection page to see if or when NutriBloom needs to be added. If you are growing herbs and leafy greens such as basil, kale, lettuce, spinach, etc, then you will need to use NutriGrow which can be found HERE.

Herbie Helper - Click on the Planting guide tab above for our complete guide on how to mix and add NutriBloom to Herbie home.
We recommend pre-mixing the water and nutrients before filling up the smart garden.
1- Grab a jug or any suitable container to mix the nutrients in but just make sure it can hold 1 litre of water.
2- Add one scoop of NutriBloom to the jug and fill it with 1 litre of water. Stir the water and make sure all the nutrient powder dissolves (warm water helps)
3- Remove one of the planter pots and fill Herbie Home with the nutrient-water to the tab marked inside “Fill to here”. (For your first fill it is ok for the water level to be just below the tab)
You may notice fungus growing on top of the soil after about a week. Don't stress as It improves microbial life inside the soil and will not harm humans, animals or plants.
NutriBloom has food colouring added for identification and safety so don't be alarmed when the water changes colour!
